Nephrology Department of Tabriz University of medical sciences is the reference center for kidney disease in North West of Iran. Our department is one of the biggest and important nephrology center in Iran. We have the biggest hemodialysis center and one of the biggest peritoneal dialysis center and nephrology ward in Iran. Also we have kidney transplant center that active in cadaveric and living kidney transplantation. Many diagnostic and therapeutic procedures like renal biopsy, HD and PD catheter insertion, continuous renal replacement therapy was performed daily at the highest international level. Many research activity with important and high impact products have been conducted with my colleges in our center and many medical students educate in our nephrology dialysis and transplant fields.
