Welcome to the division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
Our division is the reference center for Gastroenterology and Hepatology diseases in the North-West of Iran that launched its services from 2004 in Tabriz Imam Reza Medical Research and Training hospital. We are committed to providing high quality, compassionate healthcare, advancing our understanding of digestive and liver diseases, and training future clinicians and researchers. We have training program of GI fellows in all endoscopic procedures from 2008.
Our division offers diagnostic and treatment services including endoscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, enteroscopy, fibroscan, lower and upper manometry, and endosonography with the presence of country’s specialized and experienced professors and physicians. Moreover, our division has different inpatient units including the liver transplant unit.
We also offer the diagnostic and treatment services in five distinct outpatient clinics including hepatology, celiac disease, anorectal, IBD, and pancreatobiliary clinics.
